The Wonderful Rocks

Natural Landmark Wonderful Rocks is located on the shore of Tsonevo Dam, about 4 km south of Asparuhovo Village (Dulgopol Municipality), Varna Region. It covers an area of ​​about 12.5 hectares. The rock phenomenon is a collection of needle-shaped rock formations up to 50 meters high, formed by the effects of wind and water erosion on the limestone rock.

The Wonderful Rocks
The area was declared a Natural Landmark on February 17, 1949. Activities that may alter the natural appearance of the rocks or damage or destroy the natural phenomenon are prohibited in the area.

The Wonderful Rocks
Along the rock formation there is a tunnel through which an old road passes. The area is suitable for camping and fishing.

The Wonderful Rocks
In the immediate vicinity of the Wonderful Rocks passes the main road connecting the cities of Provadia and Aytos, as well as the Varna-Plovdiv railway line.
